8U Mondays 6:15-7:15PM (Sandlot)
This program is for 7 and 8 year olds.  Emphasis is on learning the fundamentals and rules of the game (pitching, fielding, hitting, etc).  Game play will be introduced.  Players will be divided onto small teams of 4-6 players and practice skills with their team mates.  Scrimmages will be played between mini-teams with modified rules (no stealing, no leadoffs, no walks, etc).  Although predominately coach pitch we will be introducing player pitching.  No prior baseball experience is needed to participate

11U (9, 10, and 11 year olds) Recreation House League - Tuesday &Wednesday 4:45-6:00PM (Sandlot)
This program is for 9, 10, and 11 year olds.  Emphasis is on learning game play, with slightly modified rules, in a fun environment.  For the first few weeks players enrolled in the house league program will participate in "Spring Training" where their skills will be assessed.  Following Spring Training players will be assigned to teams.  Skill assessments will be used to ensure the teams are evenly matched.  Teams will play each other round robin styles.  Game and team practice schedules will be distributed after "Spring Training"  with team rosters.  Games will be umpired by our junior and new umpires.  Players on the rep team will NOT be allowed to play in this house league.  No prior baseball experience is needed to participate

Players who are not certain about which 11U is right for them (House League versus Rep Team) are encouraged to try the Rep team which will begin in May.

11U (9, 10 and 11 year olds) Rep. Team - Tuesday & Wednesday 4:45-6:30PM (Field 2)
This program is also for 9, 10, and 11 year olds.  This program is for those players who want an introduction to a more competitive game experience.   While more competitive emphasis is still on learning, development, and fun.  This team will participate in a provincial league and year-end tournament playing against teams from other communities. Game rules are prescribed by the league and Baseball NS.  Players will NOT be allowed to play in this program and the house league.  No prior baseball experience is needed to participate.

As this is a rep team there is an expectation that players and parents commit to participate in all games and practices (within reason).  There may be additional team fees.  Travel will be required.
